Sudha Murty: Serve your country or organization like a mother

When I saw the video of Sudha Murty, one of the key pillars for the foundation of Infosys and an elderly woman, giving water to the young colleague in the parliament by walking and climbing stairs, I had to write to say thank you for setting a fine example for the rest of us.

When 36 year old Ram Mohan Naidu, Minister for Civil Aviation while speaking to the upper house of parliament, said I need water sir, looking at the speaker. 74 year old and one of pillars of modern India, Sudha Murty, did NOT hesitate for a second. She just walked up and gave him water. She was NOT the speaker of the house nor was she one of the attendants who attends to such needs.

When an opportunity, to serve your nation or organization, comes, do NOT hesitate. Grab it. Small opportunity or big does not matter. What matters is whether you served or not, when you could.
